Ean’s Rare Gift – Chapter 11
Ean
I had always wondered what it would be like to date Karina, and now I realize that all of my daydreams were wrong. It’s better than I expected. She’s even more attractive, funny, and entertaining on a date than just as friends. Her eyes shine, and her skin glows. It’s her but turned up five hundred percent.
She looks at me like I’m the only person who matters to her. It’s as if nothing else exists at this moment but us. She’s magnetic, and my soul pulls towards her. My heart beats faster when our eyes meet, and every thought disappears from my mind except for how much I want to kiss her lips. Those lips…
I love how passionate she is about everything she does, from baking or cooking to volunteer work or helping her family. No matter what it is — whether it’s discussing books she’s been reading or sharing stories from her day — she talks with such enthusiasm that her words captivate me.
The dinner lasts for over an hour, and I don’t want it to end. Karina is a fantastic listener who pays attention to every detail I tell her. Then she responds with thoughtful comments that show she really understands what I’m saying. We’re having such a great time with the conversation that I almost don’t notice that we’ve finished our meals, the wine is gone, and the storm outside is raging.
“Let me clean up,” she says, reaching for the plates on the table.
“No. Leave them.” I touch her hand to stop her, and my heart leaps into my throat.
The connection between our hands is sudden and electrifying. I can feel her warmth radiating through me, and the storm outside becomes a distant memory. She doesn’t pull away; she smiles and entwines her fingers with mine.
I’m not sure what to do next. Do I show her around the apartment? Do we sit on the couch? Should I initiate something physical? Her actions tell me she’s ready, but I know better than to push her.
The wind howls and the rain comes down even harder, rattling the shutters.
“Wow, it’s really coming down out there,” Karina says, looking at the window but still holding my hand. “I don’t think I’m going to make it home tonight.”
Yes.
Achievement unlocked.
My pants seem to tighten, and I take a long inhale to stop them from becoming uncomfortable. Yet.
“I’d love it if you stayed here with me,” I tell her, and her smile grows.
“I thought you’d never ask.”
Taking her hand, I pull her to stand in the kitchen. Her arms slip around my waist, she looks up at me with those beautiful eyes of hers, and my heart stops. At this moment, all I can think about is how much I want to kiss her.
I bring a hand to her face. “You can say no,” I assure her. “You should say no if you have any doubts.”
“No doubts.” She leans closer. “Not even one.”
I close the distance between us and lean in until our lips barely touch. She hums and clutches at my back, and my restraint gives way like the flood of a dam bursting in a heavy rain. I press my lips to hers, and the energy is an electric current shooting through my body. My heart pounds as I deepen the kiss, exploring the flavors of her lips with mine — sweet from the wine we had and salty from our dinner. Time stops as we stand in each other’s embrace, lost in this moment.
For a few magical seconds, nothing else matters but us.
The kiss deepens. The storm outside fades into the background, and all I can focus on is her warmth against my chest, the heat from her hands as they travel up my back until she’s pressed against me, and how it feels when our tongues meet. With each passing second, we become increasingly lost in each other. I have no sense of time and place. Where am I? No clue.
Ean, slow down.
I take a step back, drinking in her beauty like a man dying of thirst in the desert. Her cheeks are flushed with passion, her eyes twinkling with excitement.
“Wow.” She presses her fingers to her lips. “That’s…”
“Yeah,” I breathe out. Obviously, I’m at a loss for words.
“Let’s go to bed,” she whispers, and my belly tightens. Straight from the kiss to sex?
Hell yes. Let’s go.
Karina takes my hand and leads me down the hallway to my bedroom. She looks at me again with those same twinkling eyes before opening the door with her free hand. The room is dark but illuminated by the status lights of my alarm clock and the glow from the street lamp out the window.
She pulls off her shirt, dragging it over her head and letting her curls bounce around her shoulders. My mouth dries, and my hearing rings as she unhooks her bra, releases her breasts, and drops the bra to the floor. I pull her body to me and crash my lips against hers. She moans as she wraps her arms around my neck, and the sound drives me faster. My dick is rock-hard now.
We both slip into the bed, and two orgasms later, her chest rises and falls, her eyes closed before she smiles and laughs. I don’t think I’ve ever made a woman this happy.
“That was… amazing.” Her voice is breathless, her eyes closed.
I laugh, still lying across her. “You’re amazing,” I reply, kissing her again before rolling off and standing up. I offer my hand to help her stand. “How about a shower?” I’m dying to keep her naked all night long.
Karina’s eyes open wide in surprise at the suggestion, but she nods eagerly. I pull her up, and she presses her naked body against mine. “Are you sure you don’t want to go again? I could.”
“Who says that’s not what we’re going to do in the shower?”
Thump! Thump thump thump.
Karina freezes. “Do you hear that?”
A crack of thunder quickly follows a flash of lightning. The power goes out.
“Ean! Ean Kimura!” a voice calls from outside.
I blink and try to process this. My mind was on sex, a shower, and Karina naked next to me. Now suddenly, it’s on whatever’s happening outside.
“I think… I think that’s Yuri Hotaka.”
More door pounding echoes up the stairs. Shit. Something is happening.
I search the floor for my clothes. Karina and I bump into each other now that the room is pitch black. She laughs as she hands me my shirt. I throw it over my head and pull on my pants without my underwear.
“Go. I’ll be right behind you.”
Out in the living room and kitchen, the candles flicker light over everything. Ume watches me as I slip on a pair of shoes.
“Your mate is pleased,” she says, and I burst into a laugh.
“Good sex will do that.”
I grab my flashlight from the table near the door, grateful I unpacked it earlier today, and head down the stairs.
The door flies open in the wind, and Yuri Hotaka is standing in rain gear in the deluge.
“Ean! We’ve got a problem!”
