I use quite a few AI tools to help me both as an author and as a marketer. As a solo woman business in an artistic market, sometimes I need help, and AI tools are there to fill in the blanks. Image Creation
I sometimes use Midjourney to create images for this blog and for social media. I use these in the same way I would use stock images. They are on the page to provide an illustration of what I'm talking about or inspiration for the worlds and characters I create. The vast majority of my book covers are made by the designers I hire, except for some side novellas. (Photo on this page was made with Midjourney.)
Text Creation
I use multiple text generation tools to help me write blog posts, brainstorm ideas, and write my fiction too! These tools include (but are not limited to): OpenAI Playground, ChatGPT, Claude, and Sudowrite.
These tools keep me inspired and in the chair, at the keyboard, ready to create the content you love. Every word that ends up on this site or in my books is because I chose for it to be there, whether it came from my brain through my speech or fingers or from an AI tool. Everything I do is human-led and benefits from 30+ years of storytelling.
Text Editing
Further to text creation, I use three editing tools to help keep my words clean and my syntax clear. These tools include: ProWritingAid, Grammarly, and AutoCrit.
