Somedays, this dog just does not want to walk, and I have to carry her down the hill before she gets the idea. Really, she's just protesting because she'd rather walk with my husband than with me.
Anyway, I decided recently to devote my Sunday walks to audiobooks, and I look forward to it all week! It's nice to leave my podcasts and news behind on Sundays and listen to a good story instead. Usually, after my walk, I come home and continue listening through lunch and with some knitting too. It's a great way to wind down my week.
Are you an audiobooks listener? What have you been listening to lately?
My current listen: Variation by Rebecca Yarros
Lulu looks cute in her coat! That sounds nice how you devote Sundays to audiobooks. I always have an audiobook going on and usually listen to it every day. Currently I am listening to a cozy fantasy romance Practical Rules for Cursed Witches by Kayla Cottingham, it's a good one so far.
She looks extra adorable in her coat. I love it. I hear that cozy fantasy is really popular right now! “Cozy” seems to be the word for the 2020s.
I love the cozy fantasy genre and I am so glad the genre is getting more popular.
115 chapters!! That’s a lot. It’s been ages since I read that book.
Lulu loves going on for walks, but only on her terms. Lol. I love having an audiobook to listen to while doing other things. I had to teach myself to actually listen to them, though. I think that’s a learned skill and doesn’t come naturally to a lot of people.
