Sunday Update – November 8, 2015

No posts on the blog this past week because I'm on vacation! Though you wouldn't really know it. Lol. I'm still writing everyday, checking in online, and getting stuff done. Nevertheless, I am away from home, in South Carolina, and I'm on vacation. So far, everything about vacation has been great. We're staying with my parents and the girls are doing great too. There's been lots of amazing food and some field trips too. Let's cut straight to the photos and then hopefully you'll hear from me again this next week with a teaser or two for REVEALED.

I love this tree. It's so red and pretty when the sun shines on it. #ig2015 #365days #dailyphoto

Fall is in full swing at home, but down here in the South, it's warm and humid.

Traveling! This was yesterday and I forgot to upload. #dailyphoto #365days #ig2015

We made it to our destination with no issues. I'm not sure that's ever happened before!

Out for a walk today in SC. Every single person I saw, old or young, man or woman, smiled and waved to me. Not used to that. Lol. #ig2015 #365days #dailyphoto

I went for a nice long walk and admired all the beautiful homes. Every single person that passed me waved to me, and I didn't know any of them! Everyone is so nice here.

I'm at a tiny theater in SC that has a bar. Love this place! And finally seeing The Martian! #dailyphoto #365days #ig2015

KP and I finally saw The Martian at this adorable theater that had a bar. Now THAT'S awesome.

Vodka and moonshine tasting at Firefly Distillery today. Omg I need a nap. #ig2015 #365days #dailyphoto

And I'm coming home to NJ tomorrow with a lot of vodka and moonshine. We went to a tasting at the local distillery and it was so good. Mmmm. But I needed a major nap afterward.

Saw the Angel Oak today. They think this tree is 1500 years old. It was wild to see how wide it was and how it grew in every direction.

We saw The Angel Oak which is believed to be 1500 years old. It was huge! And its branches went everywhere.

Death by salmon croquette. Omg yum.

And we ate some delicious and filling food to celebrate my dad's birthday today.

I'll update again when I'm back home! I'm super excited about the progress I'm making on my current WIP, the cozy mystery, and my NaNoWriMo entry. So I'll talk about that later this week.

  1. I hope you’re enjoying your vacation! Even though you are still writing and working it must be nice to be somewhere different. I am currently reading Revealed and I am really enjoying it so far! It’s so nice be back in this world for a bit.

That house in the background of your picture looks so nice and big. I can imagine why you would take a walk to admire the houses. Wow that oak is impressive! I don’t think I ever seen a tree that large.
And I can’t wait to hear more about your new book! I can’t wait to read it!

    1. The Angel Oak was absolutely enormous. It was really cool to see a tree that big, especially as it grew in a million different directions.

I have enjoyed my vacation so far! And we head home tomorrow morning so it’s almost over. I’m glad I’m continuing to write because I have the motivation so I might as well keep it up.

  2. Sounds like you are having an amazing time, your photos look so good! I really want to visit more of the States, we are regular travellers to Orlando but would like to explore a bit further!

    Have a good week!
