Almost forgot to post a Sunday Update! This morning I had to take the little one to a birthday party and I have been knee-deep in revisions on my contemporary romance since then. I'm taking a little break to get you all caught up on my week.
For the first time in three weeks, we are all finally well in my house (knocks on wood). I had bad allergies and battled a sinus infection, and both of my kids had some virus that gave them high fevers for five days straight. Of course, they weren't sick at the same time! That would have been too easy. ;) Instead, the oldest had it, we took two days off, then the youngest had it. I would say, “I'm looking forward to being back to normal this week,” but my husband leaves on a week-long business trip tonight. Sigh. I will be single-momming it until Friday.
In other news, I got back developmental edits on my next contemporary romance and spoke to my editor via FaceTime. I also received beta reading notes, and I'm in the process of revising like crazy! On the promotional front, I'm booking a cover reveal for this book and a month on NetGalley. I'll post more as details solidify including title, blurb, and publication date.
And on Thursday, the Nogiku Series came to a close with the publication of RECLAIMED! We had a little book birthday and celebrated with Japanese food and cake. I'm so pleased that the series is complete, and I hope you enjoy it!
What else happened this week?
The kiddie pool made its annual debut.
Our peonies bloomed in the backyard.
Tried out some new Jams! This design is Sunny Lotus. I love it so so much.
RECLAIMED showed up on my Kindle right on time, with no hiccups. Thanks Amazon!
And I spent a good deal of time outside editing! Which is just awesome, I must say.

Sounds like a nice way to celebrate your book birthday! That peonie is so pretty! We don’t have any flowers on our balcony this year, but the plants in our living room in fron of the window are growing like crazy! I hope you have a great week!
