Sunday Update – December 7, 2014

I made a pact with myself a few years ago that I wouldn't complain about my children too much online anymore, but I just have to today! The full moon has them wrapped up in each other, and they are being crazy as hell. So many accidental injuries have occurred lately. One is being rude and the other sensitive. Ugh. Anyone have a (warm) cabin in the woods I can go to to get away from these crazy people?

My week was very haphazard. I got antibiotics last Sunday for a sinus infection, and though all the pain and suffering were gone by Wednesday, the drugs have left me light-headed and ditzy. I can barely think. Still, I'm forcing myself to get work done. I've been outlining a new New Adult Contemporary Romance I hope to start soon. There's been a non-fiction project on the back burner for a few weeks. Plus, I'm working on getting REVEALED in its entirety done. Then I can focus on finishing Nogiku Book 4. Yikes. It's a lot of work along with the blog and everything else. Hard to say when I'm going to find the time. As soon as I'm off the meds I hope to be working every night again. Fingers crossed that's by mid-week!

My awesome husband made me onion soup for dinner. I love him. #sick #instagram365

Sickness requires soup, and a lot of it.

So much to do. So little time. #instagram365

Made a lot of plans for December and already crossed several off my list including the free Nogiku Series Guidebook!

At the office. Haven't been here in awhile! #instagram365

Got in a very productive morning at the office, aka Panera.

Hung out today with Amy Evans! @aammyyss

And hung out with Starla Huchton! @riznphnx

Then spent a very rainy Saturday at a book signing with my awesome author buddies including Amy Evans and Starla Huchton! It was quite a week. Phew! Let's hope for a chill week coming up.

  1. Can’t wait to hear more about that New Adult Contemporary Romance you’re outlining! Must be exciting to start a new book :).

I haven’t read the free Nogiku guidebook yet, but I plan to do so soon, I am only afraid it makes the wait for book 4 harder.

Yay for book signings, it always looks so nice seeing all those books lined up on singing tables, I hope I can go to an author signing once. I never been to one, only saw pictures online.

I hope you have a great week!
