Finished up John Scalzi's LOCK IN two days ago on audiobook and am now bereft. Send good audiobooks immediately!
I really really loved LOCK IN. It was a mystery in a unique, fun, well-built future world. The flu that ravages the human race and leaves some people “locked in” was plausible and interesting. I really hope we hear more from Chris Shane and his FBI exploits. Several moments made me laugh out in the audiobook. Wil Wheaton's dry voice and delivery of sarcasm was perfection. Now I'm thinking I'll be looking into other Wil Wheaton narrated audiobooks.
I'm also currently reading SECOND DAUGHTER by Susan Kaye Quinn. This one I'm reading slowly in short breaks, basically when I get the chance. It's already lovely. I hope I have more reading time soon!
Plus I have two beta reads going on. One for my friend, Kim, and one I just got from my friend, Tracy.
Try Mary Robinette Kowal’s Glamourist series. I’ve read all the books, but she narrates her own and does spectacular voices.
Hmmm, I thought I owned Shades of Milk and Honey on Kindle but I guess I don’t! Adding that to my Audible wish list :)
