Nebula Nights And The Boxed Set Experience

As a new author, only published for 11 months now, I thought it would be a long time before anyone invited me to be in a boxed set with them. But I was in the right place at the right time and volunteered to be a part of a science fiction romance boxed set with other members of the Science Fiction Romance Brigade! How great! I offered up REMOVED, and they accepted. I've always wanted to capture more sci-fi romance readers :) My Nogiku Series fits into several niches, but sci-fi romance wasn't as represented in my readers as much as I had hoped.

I didn't know anything about making a boxed set, but I learned a lot about the process with this group. We hired someone to do the formatting, cover images, and distribution, and as part of the package, they also helped us promote the set. We started our own FB group as a place to gather and share news, upload files, and keep each other informed about what part of the process we were in. It has been a lot of work! But most of all, it has been a lot of fun. I'm glad to be a part of this boxed set with these ladies. Everyone has been supportive and helpful, and all the stories in this set are unique and fun.

Do I have any regrets about being in this boxed set? Absolutely not. It's been one of my favorite publishing experiences so far! It came at the perfect time, right when I have a new release out this week. It has given all of us in the set an added boost in sales. Plus, we've had the chance to be featured on several sites, become an All Romance eBooks Best Seller, and had a write up in USA TODAY!

NO LONGER FOR SALE, BUT THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING US!

  1. Yep, it was a great experience. There was a sense of camaraderie which was wonderful. We got the set out in record time, organised extra advertising and even set up a Facebook Launch Party. Like you, I learned a lot.
