Summer Vacation

I missed two Sunday Updates!! Why? Because I was on vacation. A much-needed vacation. For a week, my family and I were in the Outer Banks, North Carolina. We rented a house. My mom and dad, my husband and kids, and my brother, his wife, and kids all stayed together for a week of beach, pool, and eating around a huge dining room table. Plus there was also seafood which is an added bonus for me (I could eat seafood at every meal, I swear). Not much work-wise got done this past week. I did work on editing the next installment of REVEALED, due out mid-July, I proofread for an author friend, and starting reading through REUNITED as well. But I made sure to take the time to read a book for fun, knit, drink, and relax.

Listened to music after dinner.

Had lunch with a knitterly friend, Laura!

And worked on my knitting.

But some of the best fun was watching my kids surf the waves and have a great time.

I hope you're all having a great summer so far! We still have plenty of days worth of sun, pool, sprinkler, and ice cream ahead of us. And I have days worth of edits and first drafts ahead of me :) So much to write, so little time.
