I've worked hard this week on both the Nogiku Series cover reveal and on getting REUNITED edits ready for my critique partners. But sometimes other things get in the way. Today my oldest is sick with a fever and stomach virus. She woke us at 1:30am for, seemingly, no reason, but then was sick all day. I stayed home with her while my husband went to the pool with the youngest. I did manage to get work done because oldest passed out on the couch for most of the day! Poor thing. I hope she feels better soon.
Got the paperback copy of REMOVED! There will be a Goodreads giveaway in a few weeks!
I've decided to leave Flickr for good. I can't stand the constant unusable redesigns. They make it so hard to interact there now, and I was fine with just storing my images there for the duration. But then I get added as a contact by strangers who only use Flickr for porn. Dude. Find your porn somewhere else, please! And stop favoriting all my photos. It's just creepy. So I'm done. I've switched over to just Instagram and Picasa. I'm happy with this decision. I will not post photos to Flickr anymore nor will respond to comments there.
Been catching up on The Daily Show and trying to watch the last episode of Mad Men but I keep getting interrupted.
What I'm Reading
I'm reading this amazing and thoroughly engrossing book, FOR DARKNESS SHOWS THE STARS by Diana Peterfreund. Diana and I have become friends through a Facebook group we both belong to, and I really wanted to read this book since it's very much my taste in fiction. It's basically a dystopian Jane Austen book. Seriously. You should read it. I'm at 68% and I have to force myself to put it down.
What I'm Knitting
Still working on my Different Lines cardigan. I picked it up for the first time in two weeks last night. I love this pattern because it's easy to remember and figure out where you are at any given time.
