The Ups And Downs Of Spring

The blog's been quiet (I know, hard to believe, right?) for the past week because I have been incredibly busy in the background getting things ready for the big Nogiku Series Cover Reveal next week. This involved me getting all the covers finalized, creating images for the reveal, sale images, and getting the first REVEALED short story up online so that I could lobby Amazon to make it free. Today I update the paperbacks and tomorrow I get ready to push everything out to all the vendors. Phew! It's a lot of work, and I'm also editing the third book in the Nogiku Series, REUNITED, at the same time.

Spring has been beautiful around here finally. The flowers are blooming, the weather has been in and out, sunny or rainy, and I've been trying to budget my time so that I can be outside when it's nice with the kids and inside and working when it's raining. So far so good, though I'm far behind on my REUNITED edits and will probably have to start getting up at 5 a.m. again to get those done and off to betas in a decent amount of time.

But still there will be time for the pool, the playground, and walking in the sun even though the pollen wants to kill me. Because balance is everything, and I still have to find time for my family, my writing, and some sanity along the way.

I reorganized the front hall and now this shoe cabinet holds everything. Yay!

Hope you're all doing well and finding balance, too!
