CARRIER Book Trailer Debut!

Wow. I am blown away by the book trailer for CARRIER, a new dystopian thriller from Anne Tibbets. Anne is one of my author friends who I chat with on Twitter and FB, and I remember her posting photos from the making of this trailer. So professional! I think you'll be hard pressed to believe this is for a BOOK not a movie.

    Amazing! Someone with some major talent put that together. They showed us a book trailer that was Hollywood quality at last year’s SCBWI. We’re all looking at each other like, “How on earth did the author pull this off?” At the end of it, the person leading the workshop (on book trailers) admitted the author had good friends who were professional filmmakers and agreed to put it together for her at a major discount.

      Yeah, you definitely need to work your connections for something like this. Which is awesome! Just like I work my background as a graphic designer or web programmer to get a good website or teasers built. Clearly I need more friends in video production!
